Your question - Our answer
Your question: Can my highest bid be viewed by other people?
Our answer: No, neither other bidders nor employees of the auction house can view your highest bid. If you enter a higher bid than the current bid step, it will be stored in the system so that it cannot be viewed. If another bidder also places a bid, it is compared with your highest bid and automatically adjusted. This ensures that you only ever bid one bid increment higher than the current bid.
Your question: I would like to be reminded of an expiring item. What should I do?
Our answer: No problem! Simply register on our platform without obligation and free of charge. Now you can monitor individual items and view the respective bidding status in your bidding list. Furthermore, you will be reminded of the items you are watching with a short e-mail on the day of the auction two hours before the auction ends.
Your question: When will the item be knocked down?
Our answer: After the end of the auction the highest bidder will be awarded the contract. The end of the auction is indicated for each individual item. The end of the auction for an item is automatically extended by 120 seconds if there are still bids within the last two minutes before the end of the auction. After the end of the complete auction you will receive the invoice for the auctioned items by e-mail.
Your question: Bid early or at the last moment, which strategy is better?
Our answer: For positions that are expected to be of great interest, the strategy of placing your bid only at the last moment can be promising. For items that are not in such high demand, it is sometimes better to place a bid early, because if the bids are the same, the first bid placed first counts. In the end it always depends on the amount of the bid.
